Background Screening Company Positions Experienced Leadership for Continued Growth in Key Region

LONDON, UK 10 April 2013 – HireRight, a global leader in background screening, has appointed Steve Girdler as Managing Director of EMEA. Based in London, Girdler will report to HireRight’s Senior Managing Director, EMEA and APAC, Dan Shoemaker.

Steve Girdler will oversee all HireRight operations in EMEA, with employees in the UK, Poland, Spain and Estonia, as well as a strong and growing client base. He will draw on his extensive leadership experience and knowledge of the recruitment and outsourcing market to help HireRight take advantage of changing market conditions and opportunities.
Girdler brings to the role a rich background that includes executive management, business development, marketing and product development expertise in the recruiting, HR solutions and professional services industries.

Prior to joining HireRight, Girdler served as Director of London 2012 for Adecco, and managed the company’s high profile London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games contract and sponsorship. In addition, he has held senior leadership roles with Kelly Services, KPMG, and Gabem Management.
