International Cross-Cultural Recruitment

reesmarx europe shows it really places across Europe with a candidate from the Phillipines, living in Italy, placed in the Netherlands, not many recruitment companies can do that!

reesmarx has just finished recruiting for an American computer and consumer electronics company where the client had major problems recruiting for a Regulatory Compliant Engineer to be based in the clients Schiphol, Amsterdam head office.

In fact, the clients internal recruitment team had been looking for this candidate for some time with no success and that is why they brought reesmarx europe in,  they knew our expertise in the European Technology market.

Therefore, the client asked reesmarx europe to recruit this role on a Partnership Network agreement, whereby the client paid an upfront fee, which was deducted from the final 22.5% of the first years gross salary fee.

From sign off of the agreement, reesmarx europe took a full brief from the Human Resources department and the Hiring Manager, based in California and organised all the logistics for all the meetings to take place ie 1st, 2nd and 3rd round interviews, video conferences and travel plans for final face to face interviews. Within a period of four weeks, reesmarx europe had presented candidates to the client and interviews were organised for all the candidates who were from within Europe.

‘ In fact, this was a very interesting project, as it was run from our head office in London rather than Amsterdam due to the knowledge and expertise of the London based resourcing team and they liaised with the client in USA and Netherlands to make sure we kept to the agreed KPI’s for this role’ said Simon Clarke reesmarx ‘s Account Manager for the role ‘ Initially, the candidates presented had positive feedback from Europe but the USA Hiring Manager was not as keen. After further work by our resourcing team, we put forward a further three quality candidates that the client in the USA and Europe was really pleased with’ continued Simon.

In the end, within agreed timescales and processes, reesmarx placed a candidate from the Phillipines, living in Italy and able to move and work in the Netherlands, a great result!!!

reesmarx europe will find the right candidate for any Technology role throughout Europe. We recruit across Europe,  placing candidates in Technology roles in differing countries, through the European market knowledge we have built up over the last two decades.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Simon and Nick for their help and assistance during the hiring process, they both have shown me extraordinary support in helping me find a new job, in a new country, with a relocation package to meet my needs. I can’t wait to start, thank you again.’-Mary Ann Danioni – the successful candidate.
